Amid interest, Crystal Palace Unlikely To Let Star Go Without Replacement

According to the South London Press, Crystal Palace are unlikely to permit center back Chris Richards to depart unless they can find a replacement. This is because Union Berlin is interested in the defender.

Richards, 23, joined the Eagles last summer from Bayern Munich, although he hasn’t yet made a name for himself there.

Marc Guehi and Joachim Andersen are now ahead of the American international in the standings.
Union Berlin, a Bundesliga team looking to bolster their defensive lines, is now interested in him.

Roy Hodgson’s team is reportedly in agreement with their position on the 23-year-old center-back, though.

According to recent reports, the London club is unlikely to permit his departure from Selhurst Park as long as they are unable to locate a suitable replacement.

During the current transfer window, Hodgson’s team is still without a new center-back.
They are now said to be interested in Rob Holding, a standout for Arsenal.

The Eagles’ activity in terms of signings and trades during the busy conclusion of the transfer window will now be measured, it remains to be seen.
