In the Toffees‘ match against Luton Town, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, the striker for Everton, completely destroyed Jamie Carragher with a “unplayable” moment.

On Friday, May 3, at Kenilworth Road, the Blues maintained their winning streak in the Premier League with a 1-1 draw against the Hatters. Calvert-Lewin’s first-half penalty earned the team a well-earned point in a competitive match.

The English international shocked Carragher with a stunning jump and header, so it was sad that the keeper denied him, even if his penalty brushed over Kaminski’s trailing leg.

He stated, “Dwight McNeil does well but that leap from Calvert-Lewin,” during a speech on Sky Sports Main Event on May 3, 21:40. We stated prior to the game that he is unplayable at his peak.

“Any center-back, that spring, just cannot handle it.”

Will Dominic Calvert-Lewin leave Everton in the summer transfer window?

Calvert-Lewin is unstoppable when he is playing that way, as Carragher indicated. Few strikers in international football can match the striker’s presence at the top of the pitch.

The Toffees striker was mostly left on his own at the top of the field at Kenilworth Road, but he persevered and kept the ball up well to get his teammates into the game and pressure the home team’s defense.

Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Although he isn’t flawless and doesn’t have the poise of some of the best forwards in the division, he has been crucial to Everton this season, and you have to wonder where they would have ended up if he hadn’t scored goals.

Keeping him at Goodison past the end of the season will be the next task. A few teams higher up in the Premier League will most likely be interested in signing Calvert-Lewin, and Everton’s off-field problems may make it easier to do so.
