According to a report from Football Insider, Leeds United is not thinking of firing Daniel Farke if they don’t get promoted.

Leeds United and Ipswich Town are still in a fierce rivalry for second place.
One slot is still available in the automatic promotion spots after Leicester City won the league title and secured promotion over the weekend. Ipswich is just behind the Whites on goal differential and has a game in hand. Both teams are tied on points.

Given the form Leeds had shown, this recent stutter has drawn growing criticism. And, given the talent in the ranks at Elland Road, promotion has been expected this season.

However, despite the stuttering bid to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking, it seems it will have no impact on Daniel Farke’s future at the club.

Football Insider reports that Leeds United are not considering parting ways with the German boss in the event they miss out on promotion.

Farke has thoroughly impressed this season and is under a long-term contract. A late collapse of the automatic promotion push would mark a big disappointment, but he will retain the backing of the club hierarchy.
