Sergio Reguilon’s summer exit from Tottenham Hotspur is approved.

The North London team hopes to add more players to their roster, so they anticipate a busy summer transfer window. Their players who are surplus to needs will be offloaded in large numbers. They will then bolster their ranks with the money they have raised.

Going forward, Ange Postecoglou does not have Sergio Reguilon in his plans. Additionally, a decision about his future has already been taken, according to Pete O’Rourke of Football Insider. In the summer, the North London club is prepared to sell him.

Reguilon, who joined Spurs from Real Madrid in the summer of 2020, had a respectable beginning to his life in London. However, things didn’t go as expected, and he has had loan movements to different locations.

Sergio Reguilon needs a fresh start

The 27-year-old is now on a brief loan at Brentford after spending the first part of the season on loan at Manchester United.

The Spanish international is anticipated to return to his original club in the summer, despite his respectable performance for the Bees. However, with Destiny Udogie claiming the left-back position for himself, he has no chance of staying at the North London club.

Spurs are open to hearing bids for the 27-year-old, whose contract expires in the summer of 2025. In order to raise money, they wish to approve of his departure. The funds raised will be reinvested by Tottenham in order to improve Postecoglou’s team and support him in continuing to build on his outstanding debut season at the London club.
