Ateef Konaté, Jack Nadin, Archie Whitehall, and Kyle McAdam scored goals to help our B Team defeat Leeds United 4-0 at St George’s Park on Saturday afternoon, making it a record-tying win in Premier League 2.

In an attempt to build on their previous outing at Chelsea, where they won 3-2, Warren Joyce’s team got off to a great start this time around. Within 10 minutes, Konaté finished off a brilliant team play to hit the bottom corner, giving Forest the lead.

Jack Nadin made it 2-0 just before the half, finding space on the area’s boundary and then striking the bottom corner with a low shot.

Following the break, the Reds maintained their superiority and added a third goal through a deflected volley that was scored by Whitehall three minutes into the second half.

Shortly after the hour, there was time for Forest to add a fourth goal when McAdam bundled home from close-range to round off a fine afternoon’s work.

The result leaves Forest sat 16th in the league standings, with focus now turning to a Premier League Cup quarter-final clash against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Tuesday night.
