Thieves broke into the home of a Newcastle United striker just months after his teammate’s property was targeted a mile away.

48 hours before the team’s 1-0 victory over Fulham yesterday, it is believed that the gang burst through the back patio doors of Alexander Isak’s £100 million Northumbrian property.

Although there haven’t been any reports of arrests thus far, investigators are reportedly looking into if the perpetrators are the same ones who broke into Joelinton’s house a few months back, another striker for Newcastle.

The residences of prominent football players, such as Jack Grealish, Raheem Sterling, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, have been targeted by professional thieves known as “away day gangs” when the players are away from home for a game.

Whether anything was taken from Isak’s property is unknown at this time, however it is known that a car was stolen and subsequently discovered abandoned in Dissington, some three miles away.

A neighbor told The Sun in an interview: “He was broken into, but police are still piecing it together.”

“A security van with dogs has been at the house.”

According to Northumbria Police, their investigations are still ongoing, and they are urging anyone in the public who has knowledge of the break-in to come forward.

Such raids have a history of severely harming their famous victims.

The burglars stole an estimated £1 million worth of watches and jewels from Jack Grealish’s £5.6 million Cheshire property.

According to reports, Raheem Sterling’s Surrey home was the target of thieves, who stole expensive timepieces valued at over £300,000.

In the meantime, robbers ransacked Victor Lindelof’s wife and two children’s Manchester home in February 2022, forcing them to hide out in a panic room.
