It was made public shortly after the January transfer window closed that Aston Villa had attempted to buy Torino’s Raoul Bellanova; now, we find out that West Ham United had also made an attempt.

The details on the Italian player’s future—who looks to be headed for a summer transfer—are disclosed by Tuttosport and retransmitted by Toro News.
Aston Villa and West Ham would have to spend more to acquire him because it is believed that his value has more than doubled in the last 12 months since he was purchased for just €7 million last summer.

It is revealed that his value to Italian clubs would be approximately €15 million, but a larger price would be expected in the Premier League with more money.

Torino, should West Ham or Aston Villa come knocking, would then ask for ‘between €20-25m’ for their player, and it ‘always depends on who knocks on the door’, as well as the number of interested sides.

Then, it is remembered that the 23-year-old was “rejected” from both the Villans and the Hammers when they “moved in January.”

Now that West Ham and Aston Villa are aware of the expenses associated with this possible transfer, all they need to do is make sure he wants to come and then part with their cash to appease Torino’s president, Urbano Cairo.
