The lengthy takeover by Everton has continued far too long and hasn’t done much to improve 777 Partners’ standing in Merseyside.

When they initially reached an agreement with Farhad Moshiri back in September, many worries were raised, and ever since, they have only served to allay the concerns of the fans.

They, too, are beset with financial intrigues that the Toffees should avoid, particularly in light of the recent revelation that they may have violated the Premier League’s profit and sustainability regulations twice this season.

Regardless, a buyer is needed soon, with the Toffees now depressingly reliant on loan funds just to pay for their day-to-day running.
