The Aston Villa defender Lucas Digne is being pursued by Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia for a loan deal with a buyout option.

Being second in the Premier League rankings this season is mostly due to Digne, who has been a key member for Unai Emery’s team.

But Marcos Acuna of Sevilla is a player who Aston Villa is seriously interested in, and they can’t make a move for him until Digne departs.

Furthermore, it has been suggested that Villa may be able to trade for the Frenchman during the current transfer window.

The French sports daily L’Equipe claims that Al-Hilal has made contact to inquire about the potential of signing Digne.

It has been claimed that the Saudi side are in the market for a new left-back and the Aston Villa star is a top target.

Al-Hilal have also made a move for Bayern Munich’s Raphael Guerreiro who has played very little football this season.

Either of the two players might be signed by the Saudi team on a loan with a buyout option.

If Aston Villa were to agree to move on Digne during the current window, they probably will want a sale guaranteed.
