For a second straight season, LCFC Women’s match-worn poppy shirts are up for auction on MatchWornShirt in order to support The Royal British Legion.

The shirts that were worn on Sunday, November 12, in the Women’s Super League game against Arsenal are now up for bid; all revenues will go toward assisting the community of veterans.

Serving as a lifeline for active military members, veterans, and their families, the Royal British Legion supports the Armed Forces community through difficult times, illness, and loss.

In 2003, Leicester City’s Men’s team became the first English football side to wear poppies on their shirts, a tradition that has now spread throughout the professional league.

Moreover, shirts with poppies and autographs from every player from Leicester City Men’s game against Leeds United are currently up for auction on MatchWornShirt, providing a special memento from an unforgettable season.

Each shirt comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, and all proceeds from the auction—which is being held in collaboration with matchwornshirt.com—will be donated directly to The Royal British Legion.

Note that all bids are inclusive for fans and that shipping and handling are free and safe for everyone in the world.

Start of auction: November 12, 6:45 p.m.

End of auction: November 25, 2 p.m.
