Bournemouth are planning to follow in the footsteps of Wrexham by producing a documentary on the club, which will feature Hollywood owner Michael B. Jordan.

Bournemouth’s chairman, Bill Foley, has disclosed the club’s plans to produce a documentary featuring their minority owner, Michael B. Jordan. The documentary will narrate their journey as a smaller club succeeding in the top tier of English football.

Foley praised Jordan, emphasizing his down-to-earth and relatable nature, and highlighted his valuable role in the club’s international marketing initiatives and ongoing projects.

In the works is a documentary project in which Jordan will play a part, promising an exciting endeavor. The documentary will showcase the underdog’s triumphant story against all odds, with the anticipation of multiple seasons ahead, mirroring the club’s aspirations to move up the league table, not down.

Several Premier League clubs, like Manchester City and Arsenal, have already aired behind-the-scenes documentaries on Amazon Prime Video.

Wrexham have had special success in documentaries thanks to their Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, whose documentary ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ pushed the League Two club into the spotlight.

When asked if Jordan would be acting on camera, Foley replied, “It’s a documentary, so I think he’ll be playing himself!”

For the time being, Andoni Iraola’s team must concentrate on their next game, as they prepare to visit Wolverhampton Wanderers, who are headed by former manager Gary O’Neil, this weekend.
