Acording to the most recent transfer news, The Reds have joined Barcelona and Everton in showing interest in a Brazilian wonderkid.

According to a source, clubs interested in Brazilian wonderkid Gabriel Moscardo include Nottingham Forest and Barcelona.

Since being promoted to the Premier League, Forest has been actively recruiting Brazilian players. The Reds’ first team roster now includes Danilo, Felipe, Andrey Santos, and Murillo. Gustavo Scarpa, a midfielder, is currently on loan at Olympiacos.

According to the Brazilian publication IG Esporte, there may yet be another Brazilian player entering the City Ground. This is because Gabriel Moscardo, a midfielder for Corinthians, is reportedly a target for the Reds, Barcelona, and Everton.

The 17-year-old has caught the eye of clubs in Europe, who are now considerably more able to sign players from Brazil due to post-Brexit work visa laws. According to these regulations, players from outside the UK cannot sign with English clubs until they are 18 years old, but Moscardo, who turns 18 on September 28, won’t have any trouble with that.

Due to the breakdown of previous negotiations on a transfer to Chelsea, Forest and its newest transfer rivals have the opportunity to sign the gifted kid. The fact that Corinthians is reportedly “demanding at least €30m” for its top prospect, including €25m up front, could prove to be a roadblock.

A €100 million release clause is also rumored to be in the player’s contract, but it is highly unlikely that it will be exercised at this time.
