Although Everton has had a fantastic summer overall, they still lack a winger in their lineup. Given that Jesper Lindstrom isn’t a winger—as we at Everton.

News have been informed with confidence—the only improvement made there is the return of Jack Harrison for a loan.

Sean Dyche will be aware that more is required before the window closes. Thus, it’s encouraging to see advancements being made.

The latest on Everton’s pursuit of Largie Ramazani

By all accounts, Everton has expressed interest in Largie Ramanzani during this window, but it appears that the Toffees aren’t making any moves until recently, according to circulating sources.

The most recent information comes from TEAMtalk, which states that “Largie Ramazani’s position on a possible move is something that Everton is considering before the transfer window closes.”

They then outline how the player feels about the potential switch: ‘TEAMtalk sources close to the situation have revealed that Ramazani would be open to joining Everton should they come in for him this summer.

‘The Toffees were keen on Ramazani in January and they could reignite their interest in the forward now that a deal for Leeds United star Wilfried Gnonto looks unlikely.

It continues: ’Gnonto has been heavily linked with a move to Everton since last summer but Leeds’ price tag of over £25m has proved too expensive.

‘Ramazani, on the other hand, is available for around £6m and therefore represents a much cheaper option. His contract is set to expire next summer and he has no intention of signing an extension.

‘It will be interesting to see if Everton do launch an offer for Ramazani as the race for his signature is expected to heat up in the coming days.

‘He believes he is a level above the Spanish second tier and the prospect of joining Everton excites him.’

A perfect Wilfried Gnonto alternative for Everton

With his impressive pace and 5 foot 6 height, it is no surprise that Ramazani has emerged as a good replacement for Wilfried Gnonto, whom Everton was unable to sign.

Ultimately, neither are exceptionally skilled goal scorers nor extraordinarily gifted creators. Their quickness poses a threat to any defence, as they are small, agile wingers.

This description of the Belgian by Football Talent Scout Jacek Kulig honestly could be describing either one of these players, as he praises the ‘electric pace & acceleration’ of the Almeria man.

Gnonto’s ever-rising price tag only adds to the risks involved in the deal, as Leeds United’s justified stubbornness continues to hamper progression.

Moving elsewhere, and for such a cut price, marks a real no-brainer.
