Amadou Onana, the midfielder for Everton, is poised to come to Villa Park as part of a club record £50 million transfer deal, with Aston Villa moving in front of Manchester United and Arsenal.
Following an agreement between Villa and Everton on a sum to end Onana’s two-year stay on Merseyside, the 22-year-old will undergo a physical in the coming days.
After a little hiatus, Onana, who played for Belgium at the European Championship this year, will have his medical evaluated.
After his outstanding play with Luton Town the previous season, Villa signed Ross Barkley from Outer Blue and acquired Lewis Dobbin from Everton.
