Nottingham Forest appear to be in a strong position to keep hold of Callum Hudson-Odoi this summer amid reports of mounting interest in the player who joined the club for just £3m from Chelsea 12 months ago.
After moving to the City Ground from Stamford Bridge, Hudson-Odoi scored eight goals and provided one assist in 29 Premier League games and is now claimed to be a wanted man.
The Athletic reports: “At least three clubs, including some from the Premier League, have registered an interest,” in the 23-year-old whose value has soared, with Forest understood to have set a £40m price tag on his head.
He established himself as a key player in the first team last term, reigniting his career after stalling at Chelsea, as well as an unsuccessful loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen. Interest from Tottenham initially emerged amid the threat of financial breaches at Forest, with a cut-price deal on the cards.
