Newcastle United co-owners Mehrdad Ghodoussi and Jamie Reuben have responded to Elliot Anderson’s transfer to Nottingham Forest.
Midfielder Anderson has joined the Reds from Newcastle on a five-year deal. He is the club’s third addition of the summer, following the arrivals of Marko Stamenic and Eric da Silva Moreira.
In the wake of his move being confirmed, Anderson posted a farewell message to Newcastle on social media and Ghodoussi replied to it.
He said “You’ll smash it” while fellow co-owner Reuben responded to Newcastle’s social media post, stating: “Brilliant player and guy. Wishing Elliot all the best at (Forest)”.
