Regarding Sunderland’s pursuit of Divin Mubama, a young player recently released by the Hammers, a fresh revelation has surfaced.

Given that Mubama seems to be leaning toward moving to Europe, Sunderland may be disappointed in their attempts to sign the talented forward in the long run.

Journalist Nizaar Kinsella of BBC Sport claims that Mubama, who is currently without a contract, has drawn interest from Premier League, Championship, and European teams. According to reports, the adolescent is in favor of moving to Europe.

The 19-year-old West Ham forward is of interest to Sunderland, which is in line with the progressive recruitment approach that Kyril Louis-Dreyfus and his group have promoted since taking over the squad in 2021. Due to this strategy, Sunderland has fielded the youngest team in the Championship for the previous two years.

Young Hammers have a familiar route from West Ham to Sunderland, having made the switch from the Academy of Football to the Mackems with Pierre Ekwah and Aji Alese.
