According to The Sun, West Ham United has formally entered the race for Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville.

The 22-year-old Dutchman had a fantastic season with 21 goals and 10 assists, setting the Championship on fire and winning Player of the Year.

Not everyone has overlooked Summerville’s outstanding performances in the Championship. According to reports, Brighton, Chelsea, and West Ham are all interested in signing him. Fans of West Ham are understandably excited about the possibility of Summerville bolstering their offensive capabilities.

Leeds estimates Summerville’s worth to be between £30 and £40 million. They might have to reduce their asking price, though, if they are unable to get promoted back to the Premier League. Due to the club’s financial circumstances, player sales are required. Summerville and rookie Archie Gray are apparently on the transfer market.

The manager of West Ham, Julen Lopetegui, needs help on the left wing. There is a big need to be filled when Pablo Fornals, a fan favorite, left in January and Said Benrahma may go permanently.

Summerville is a left-winger by nature with all the attributes West Ham is looking for. His ability to attack fits our need for a potent left-sided threat exactly.

Premier League teams with more experience will compete fiercely with West Ham. Summerville’s signing will be contingent upon Leeds’ ability to negotiate a transfer fee and their financial flexibility. Summerville may be a game-changer if West Ham can work out a favorable deal, filling a critical hole in our team.

Sort him out, Mr. Steidten!
