The Sun claims that the fact that David Moyes’ son has joined the team clearly implies that his father will receive a new contract offer.
The board hasn’t decided on Moyes’ contract extension yet, even though it doesn’t seem plausible that his son would join if his father left soon after.
Moyes is still unpopular with West Ham supporters. Notwithstanding his team’s noteworthy accomplishments in East London, many people believe that the Hammers ought to be in a better place this season due to their disapproval of the way they play.
The majority of people believe that he shouldn’t stay in his position when the upcoming season premieres.
David Moyes to remain at West Ham
In many ways, David Moyes is very much a victim of his own success. West Ham are consistently inconsistent year upon year.
In the Scotsman’s first full season with the Hammers he steered them to a sixth place finish in the 2020/21 campaign. The following season they finished seventh before placing 14th the term after. And of course in the 2022/23 season the Hammers lifted the UEFA Europa Conference trophy.
Now, West Ham are firmly in seventh and could yet finish inside the top six.
