Romanian representative Florin Manea has expressed his desire to bring Gaziantep striker Denis Drăguş to the Premier League, with Crystal Palace and West Ham United being his prime targets.

In an interview with Fanatik in Romania, relayed by Antena AS, Manea discussed his future plans following a hectic period. He played a pivotal role in Radu Dragusin’s transfer to Tottenham during the January window, a move he continues to laud.

Dragusin is one of only two Romanian players currently active in the Premier League, alongside Ionuț Andrei at Bournemouth. While Romania’s representation in England’s top flight is modest, Manea aims to expand it by advocating for Drăguş’s transfer.

Drăguş has showcased his talent with 12 goals and one assist in 33 appearances for Gaziantep this season. Manea believes he would be an excellent fit for Crystal Palace or West Ham, and he is eager to facilitate negotiations should Drăguş express interest in collaborating.

Speaking about Drăguş’s potential, Manea stated, “He plays well. I always communicate with him and aim to support him. I envision bringing him to England, although not to the top five clubs but rather to teams like West Ham and Crystal Palace.”

Manea aims to replicate the success of Dragusin’s transfer with Drăguş, considering West Ham and Crystal Palace as ideal destinations, particularly given the former’s historical struggles in the position.
