According to Neil Redfearn, Leicester City should be concerned about how they were unable to stave off Leeds United’s siege on Friday night and gave up toward the conclusion of the game.

Leeds secured all three points from the 3-1 final result at Elland Road by scoring three goals in the final 10 minutes of play.

Leeds’ victory reduced Leicester’s lead at the top to six points, and the Foxes are now vulnerable after two straight league losses, despite months of dominance.

Redfearn emphasized that Leicester’s collapse in the closing stages of the game under Leeds siege was the more concerning aspect of their performance.

He said Leicester appeared lost defensively after Leeds equalized and began to commit too many errors, which led to the final two goals.

“The worrying thing for Leicester is the fact how they crumbled after Leeds equalized,” the former Whites manager stated on BBC Radio Leeds.

“They started playing loose in and around the box, which allowed Leeds to get shots off, and they lost their defensive form.

Although the goals are obviously fantastic from Leeds’ perspective, Leicester believes that the shutout was appalling. Leeds will now attempt to hold off Southampton and Ipswich while pursuing Leicester City for the Championship crown.

“And they did give way.
