The 24-year-old can play both as an offensive midfielder and as a central midfielder. Tottenham will benefit from his inventiveness and control in the middle of the park, and they could use someone with his skill set.

This season, Ederson has scored six goals and provided an assist in all competitions, so he might find the chance to transfer to Tottenham appealing. He will get better by playing frequently in the Premier League, and he might try to contend for trophies with the London team.

The Brazilian has a contract with Atalanta until the summer of 2026 and the Italian outfit could demand as substantial amount of money for him in the summer.

In the upcoming months, Tottenham may lose Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, and the Brazilian would be the best option to take over for the Denmark international. Despite Hojbjerg’s preference for defense, Ederson’s adaptability could allow him to fill the hole left by him.

It will be interesting to watch if the North London team can recruit the player in spite of opposition from European powerhouse Juventus.
