Sergio Reguilon is about to be acquired by Manchester United from Tottenham.

According to talkSPORT, the defender has been given permission by Spurs to travel to Manchester to have a medical before joining a team on loan.

In search of a left-back to fill in for the injured Luke Shaw, United gave up on Marc Cucurella and have since shifted their attention to Reguilon.

Due to the injury of Tyrell Malacia, manager Erik ten Hag decided to enlist some help.

Reguilon spent the previous season on loan at Atletico Madrid before moving from Real Madrid to Tottenham in 2020 for almost £30 million.

Now that they are focusing on him, Ten Hag will try to bring Sofyan Amrabat into his Premier League team before the deadline on Friday.

The Serie A club will consider a loan request for the Fiorentina midfielder if there is no obligation to purchase him from them in the summer as United had previously considered.

The reason why Japhet Tanganga, a Tottenham player, will go on loan to Augsburg

Japhet Tanganga, a Tottenham player, will spend the season on loan at Bundesliga club Augsburg, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Additionally, the agreement will include an option to purchase, so depending on how Japhet’s loan in the Bundesliga turns out, he may not go back to Tottenham.

The 24-year-old made his professional Premier League debut under Jose Mourinho in January 2020 against Liverpool. He has only participated in one prior game, a Carabao Cup match that Colchester ultimately won.

Tanganga made a memorable debut. In his debut, he displayed his grit, aggression, speed, and cunning while largely holding his own.

He was only 20 years old at the time.

Tanganga, in actuality, never lived up to the potential he had in the competition.

His stint in the starting lineup was all too brief. Since the 2019–20 season, he has made 50 appearances across all competitions (27 in the Premier League), but he has struggled to regularly have an influence on first-team activities.

He had his most reliable stretch of play while Mourinho was in charge.

Tanganga is a solid outside back, but he lacks the skill needed in possession. He needs a transfer to revive his flagging career because he has significantly slipped down the Tottenham pecking order.

Japhet’s teammates at Spurs should wish him luck and desire for him to succeed in the Bundesliga. He still has a long way to go before he can actually make it back to the Spurs first squad, though.
