Crystal Palace’s possible move for Juventus youngster Matias Soulé may have been derailed before it even began, as the midfielder has indicated that he will remain at Frosinone in January.

Tuttomercatoweb reports on the player’s statements today as well as his future with the Italian club. He joined Frosinone on loan from Juventus in the summer in search of consistent playing time and has found it, turning in a string of outstanding performances in Serie A with seven goals and one assist.

This has fueled speculation regarding his future, with many Premier League clubs thought to be monitoring him and considering a January move.

Crystal Palace is among the clubs interested, with several reports indicating their eagerness to secure his services. A report from four days ago reinforced their commitment, asserting that they were at the forefront of the race and genuinely pursuing the transfer.

However, Soulé seems oblivious to these developments, expressing his belief in remaining with Frosinone until the end of the championship.

This statement pours cold water on the Crystal Palace rumors, at least for now. The situation remains fluid, and there is ample time for developments, especially if Palace decides to make a definitive move.

As of now, there is no conclusive information in his comments, and the anticipated transfer appears to be in a holding pattern.
