All the latest Newcastle United transfer rumours as the Magpies are linked with West Ham forward Jarrod Bowen

According to reports, Liverpool and Newcastle United are keeping an eye on Jarrod Bowen’s West Ham contract situation as the forward has not yet agreed to a new term with the team. Other Premier League clubs have been made aware by reports from east London that negotiations are progressing “slowly.”

While Eddie Howe is rumored to be a fan of Bowen, Jurgen Klopp of Liverpool has been linked with a move should the Reds need to replace Mo Salah, who attracted attention from the Saudi Premier League in the summer. The 26-year-old will be a challenge for Newcastle this Saturday when the Magpies play the Hammers at the London Stadium.

Bowen has been in form for David Moyes’ side this term, scoring five goals in seven Premier League appearances. His current contract runs until 2025, so West Ham are under no pressure to sell.

One of the few elite Premier League teams who won’t be interested in Ivan Toney should he depart Brentford is Newcastle. The former Magpies striker won’t be able to play again until January as he is presently serving a suspension for betting-related offenses.

However, the frontman has been linked to teams like Arsenal and Chelsea, and Bees manager Thomas Frank has all but accepted that he will eventually leave Brentford. However, sources indicate that Newcastle won’t be first in line since Eddie Howe and company would rather go with another striker option.
